I was born in Trieste, Italy and lived in different parts of the world while growing up. Dentistry is my second career. I have been in private practice now for 12 years and enjoy every minute of it. I have the opportunity to meet lots of people and help them reach their dental goals, whether for improving health, function, or cosmetics. My main goal is to save teeth, but we can also replace them when necessary.
After earning my BS and MBA at the University of San Francisco, I worked there for a large bank for almost 6 years. Then I found my real calling in life. In my early 30’s, I attended dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, then followed up with three years of residency and specialty training here at the University of Louisville.
Since becoming a Louisvillian, I have become fond of hot wings and college basketball – you can probably guess what team I support! I also enjoy spending time with family, exploring all the Bluegrass outdoors has to offer year round, and travel abroad. I keep up with world news and events, relax to country music, and love to eat good food!
I have been a part of the Cordini Team since 2010. I grew up with a place in my heart for helping others, and knew I wanted to be in the health field early on. Changing lives and literally making smiles is the best feeling ever. Being able to provide a comforting touch and having the ongoing potential to learn something new makes my professional life very rewarding!
One of my favorite procedures is Esthetic Crown Lengthening. Patients come in with a gummy smile and very little white tooth structure showing. This typically causes low self-esteem, regardless of the patient’s gender or age. They leave our office with a huge smile that gives them the confidence that they can conquer the world.
I completed my Associate in Science in 2009, then went to ATA for Dental Assisting and graduated in April 2011. Through the University of Louisville, I received my EDDA (Extended Duty Dental Assistant) Certification-2011, along with my Coronal Polishing Certification-2013.
In my personal life, my greatest thrills come from being a mommy to a perfect little boy (and our two dogs, Oreo & Roxy) and being a good wife to a wonderful husband! I like shopping, crafting (when time allows), and traveling (especially the beach). I enjoy taking pictures that capture life and spending quality time with family and friends.
I have been a surgical assistant for Dr. Cordini since October of 2015. I began working in the medical field at the age of 15 by receiving my CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) License, and have worked with all ages. In 2011 I received my Associates in Science for Surgical Technology.
My experience includes assisting surgically in major operation rooms (hospital setting) and four years in oral surgery and periodontal practices. I enjoy spending time with my family; I have a 4 year old daughter, Skylynn, who is my world. I also sell and fix vehicles for my father, enjoy going fishing, camping, and being in the outdoors.
I was born in Munich Germany as a daughter to a career Army man. After several more stops we finally settled here in Louisville. I started practicing Dental Hygiene in 1995 after earning my BS in Dental Hygiene from UofL. In 2002 I stepped away from dentistry and gained another BS in Nursing from UofL and became an RN. However, it was not to be. God called me back as I missed the relationships I had built being a hygienist. I have known Dr. Cordini for many years and began working here in 2015. With nearly twenty years in dentistry, my greatest satisfaction is knowing our patients are receiving the best care available.
I am the proud mother of a pre-teen daughter and the wife of a stud. I love my church and just recently traveled to Ghana, Africa on a dental mission trip. I always cheer for my Cardinals and my adopted football team, the OSU Buckeyes.
