“One of my crowns just came off. Can it just be reattached?”
“Could my bad breath be caused by my crown?”
Over time, the cement holding a crown in place can sometimes become washed out, allowing bacteria to enter the area and cause decay. Tooth decay can certainly result in bad breath and an unpleasant taste. Left untreated, it can lead to further damage. If you are experiencing trouble chewing or notice an unusual odor from your tooth, please contact our office.
Dr. Cordini will examine the crown and the tooth to determine whether the current crown can be re-attached successfully, or a new crown will need to be made due to additional tooth decay.
